• Alcazar - 62 rue Mazarine, 6th. tel.01.53.10.19.99
SEE : THE ALCAZAR BLOG
Restaurant : Open noon-3pm, 7pm-12.30am daily. Mezzanine open till
2 am in the morning. It's a really good contemporary restaurant and
it's also on of the coolest bar in Paris with top DJ's.

The success of Terence Conran’s Paris gastrodome has more to do
with its cachet than the food. Seafood is a safe bet and staff can
rustle up a good brunch: perfect scrambled eggs, fluffy muffins and
a rich chocolate cake. The mezzanine ‘AZ bar’ has sleek velvet
banquette and a vantage point over the restaurant; it’s posh
without being poncey – and the drinks are great. The impressive DJ
line-up at the Wagg draws local yuppies; the music gets pumping
after midnight.
• Andy Wahloo - Cool bar with moroccan tapas and crazy
mojitos. 69 rue des Gravilliers, 3rd - tel. 01.42.71. 20.38. Mº
Arts et Métiers. - Open 4pm-2am Mon-Sat.

Created by the people behind London’s Momo and Sketch – is Arabic
for ‘I have nothing’. A formidably fashionable crowd fights for a
coveted place on an upturned paint can. From head to toe, it’s a
beautifully designed venue crammed with Moroccan artefacts. Nice
moroccan "tapas" and the DJ's after 10 pm are inspired. Small place
with a great atmosphere.
• La Perle - Rue de la Perle Paris, 75003 - La Perle is a
serious fashionista hangout for people who like to be looked at.
Tel. : 01 42 72 69 93 M° : Rambuteau - Filles du Calvaire

The décor is along typical Paris café-bar lines, not really
anything to write home about, but it's the crowd that makes this
place what it is. They're young, impeccably (and inventively)
groomed, and highly likely to have one eye on the mirror – this is
Facehunter territory and it shows. It can get quite smoky and
sweaty inside and the rumour they laced the beer with absinthe was
just a rumour, but none of this dents its scenester appeal. It
won't be for everyone but if you want to run with the city's
fashion pack, this is the place! From monday to sunday - 6pm to 2
am.
• Dix Bar - 10, rue de l'Odéon - 75006 Paris- tel. 01 43 26
66 83 - Open 6pm-2am daily This small easy to miss spot is a
perennial favorite. Almost a rite of passage for French language
students, au pairs, and every other new arrivals to Paris, the Dix
Bar is a great choice for a low key evening among friends.

The small dark room is decorated with vintage record covers and
aging theatre bills while entertainment is provided by a juke box
stocked with classic rock and french favorites. Closely packed
tables make it easy to chat with your international neighbors.
Order a pitcher of sangria, fire up the jukebox and save the
evening under long term memories.
